Nex week, our medical team will operate a group of children with severe burn scars. This weekend, they will all travel to Lao Cai and prepare themselves. As soon as we receive news, we will inform you here.

KABUTAR WORKS FOR DUNIYA!
Kabutar (left) is almost blind, just like her mother. That doesn't mean she should be cast off. As per today, Kabutar has a job in the kitchen of our school. She will be cook Anju's help, cutting vegetables etc. Which she can! On her first day, she is pretty nervous. But she is out of her miserable hut and has an income. See photo of the week.

August & September 2010 - India / Vietnam / Netherlands
Duniya will have a stand at two festivals, where we will inform about our work and sell many handmade items from India and Vietnam. On 28 & 29 of August, we will be at the Levenskunstbeurs in Driebergen (information here >>>) and on the 11th of September at the IJst 2015 festival (information here >>>). We hope to meet you on one of these festivals!

May 2010 - Vietnam
Starting next week (May 24), a group of children with burn scars will be operated in Lao Cai. Last month, we asked for your financial support to help these children, and we are happy to let you know that surgery will take place soon. Of course, we will keep you posted about the results. |

Oi Soi OI - VIETNAM
We are very happy that the Danish company Oi Soi Oi (meaning 'goodness gracious me!', an expression much used in Vietnam) decided to support the operations of handicapped children in Vietnam through Duniya Foundation. More about this co-operation will be explained soon. Meanwhile, have a look at their inspiring website >>>.Oi Soi Oi deals with over 200 Scandinavian shops and tries to link them to our work.
